The river is the main channel. A small canal is a cut or creek. Depth, direction, and ARBDD bans are not visible from the bank.

It belongs to ships. A lotca does not cross it like a lake.
Canal
It may be closed, shallow, or in a protection zone. A tourist map does not cancel the sign.
Toamna
Low water changes what is practicable. The official level is at ANR, not in a figure of ours.
