Cheia is the village at the entrance to Cheile Dobrogei, in the Casimcea valley. The gorges are a limestone defile, not high mountains.
Sfânta Treime monastery stands beside the village. Visiting hours belong to the monastery. We do not invent them.
After rain, loess and soil on side roads slide. Stay on the public road.
