History
The Baptist community in Constanța took shape over the twentieth century. Bethel is one of its congregations: preaching, song and Bible study, without an iconostasis and without an Orthodox-type service. The name avoids pomp; it says “house of God” and that is all.
The building is functional, with a meeting hall and spaces for children and young people. The atmosphere is of a Sunday-morning gathering, then groups during the week. Anyone used to the historic churches on the peninsula will feel another rhythm.
Check the hour of the meeting on the community notice. You are welcome to listen; do not walk into the middle of a working meeting as if it were a museum.
