History
Cella Serghi, the author of the novel “Pânza de păianjen”, kept Constanța close: the shore city, the wind, the seasonal hotels appear in her prose because she lived them, not because she read them. The memorial house is a 20th-century building, discreet, without the frontispiece of a national museum.
The value is of a threshold and a biography, not of a room of full display cases. If it is open, ask about hours; if not, the façade and a page of the novel, read on a bench, stand in for a tour.
You can tie the visit to a walk through the old-house neighbourhood, not to a detour as far as Mamaia.
