About
Smârdan, in full
Smârdan is the village on the Dobrogean bank where the ferry crosses to Brăila. Isaccea is farther north and has a different role — town and border point.
Ferry hours belong to the operator and the Danube level. We do not copy them. If the ferry stops, the detour is via the bridge — not “half an hour”.
The ramp is not a promenade. Cars have priority at boarding. On foot, ask first.
