How to do the route
Plan a mixed half-day. Set out early in the morning or in the afternoon, when it is cooler. Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve (ARBDD): follow the local rules and the instructions of the authorities or licensed guides.

- Portul Tulcea - Gateway to the Delta.
- Zone de observare pelicani - Binoculars, from a distance.
- Mahmudia - Danube village south of Tulcea.
- Maliuc - Reed beds and pelicans.
