These are astronomical figures for the town, not a weather forecast and not the minute at your window if you are in a valley.

De ce octombrie păcălește

On 15 October 2026, still on summer time, sunset at Constanța is at 18:22. The short day guide asks you to close the day around 16:30 so you drive back in light—not because the sun sets then. After the clock change, late October sunset drops to about 17:00. In December, 16:30 really is sunset.

Ce schimbi la drum

At 17:00 you drive in the dark between villages. Headlights stay on. One museum or fortress plus the return is a full day. Two fortresses means the second you see at night. The promenade is not for a long walk after five: see also lighting, without an invented switch-on time.
