Letea Forest
Forest on sand, lianas, horses, a Delta image that is not reed. Only with a guide or on an ARBDD-permitted trail. No fire, no approaching the wild herd, no pin for a “secret spot”. Letea is a village and a forest; you respect both.
Access
Through the Delta, with the reserve’s rules. There is no weekend highway from Constanța. An authorised guide where one is required. Letea village is not a car park at the end of a trail.
What you see
Dunes held by forest, lianas, sand light, horse tracks. Spring and autumn are gentler than July. Mosquitoes exist, whatever the photograph says.
The horses
Do not feed them, do not chase them, do not surround them. Distance. A telephoto lens, not a selfie.
Rules
ARBDD. No foraging, no tent outside permitted spots, no litter “because only you can see it”. The fines are real.
Caraorman
Another sand forest, the same principles. Do not “do” both in the same afternoon as if they were two city museums.
