History
Jean Constantin was born in 1928 in Techirghiol and grew up with Constanța behind him. On screen you have seen him in “Brigada Diverse” and alongside Amza Pellea in “Nea Mărin”; on stage, in comedies that filled the halls from the 1960s almost to the ’90s.
The bust is a short halt, not a museum. You sit, you recognize the profile and, if you have time, you tie the spot to the centre that bears his name, in the former “Republica” hall.
Good to catch on a walk through the city, without a special detour. If you are with children, it is an easy pretext to tell them who the man on the plinth was.
