History
In Mila 23, the village of canoeing and of Lipovan fishermen, Mrs Lucica cooks in the household: soup, saramură, fish in the cauldron, pies. You arrive by boat; the meal waits after hours of canal, not after a parking lot.
The house is of the Delta, not of a catalogue. Ask for still water and patience: the fire has its own rhythm. If you come in a group of 12, give notice days ahead, not from the pontoon.
After the meal the village is seen on foot in 20 minutes. In the evening the lights are few. Sleep in the village if you can; the road back on the canal, in the dark, is another kind of beautiful, and another kind of responsibility.
