Three Slippers Beach
The beach season has closed (after 15 September). On the coast it is autumn/cold: promenade, museums, towns. Not bathing weather. Lifeguard, showers and sunbeds — only in the bathing season (1 June–15 September).

History
The name Trei Papuci comes, locals say, from an old fishermen’s tavern, not from a pair left on the sand. The beach sits between North Cliff and Modern: sand, then rock and a cliff higher than at the Casino.
It is less “resort” than Mamaia. You find a free place if you come early, plus corners of stone where people sit with a rucksack, not a canopy. The water by the rocks needs care; children are better on the sand in the middle.
Access is on foot, on paths and stairs. Rubber slippers help. Do not count on changing rooms as at the large beaches; bring what you need from town.
