A portrait in the village
A face is not landscape. In a village, a close photograph is a request, not a right. If you are told no, or if no one answers, you leave.
How you ask
From the road, with a free hand, without the lens already up. The short phrases are at eight phrases at the gate. Do not enter a yard to “hear better”.
Children
No. Not in a group, not “only the back”, not at carols, not at a service. The same rule as carolling and as what we do not publish on the site.
What we publish
We do not publish portraits of recognisable people without consent. A house from the road, a mosque, a bank — yes, if it is a public place. A face — no, without the agreement of the person in the frame.
